Delete your
Iaru account

You can delete your Iaru account and its data at any time, right in the app. If you can’t use the app, you can ask us by email.

Delete your account in the app

Open Iaru and go to Profile → Privacy & Data → Delete account.
Read what will be deleted, type DELETE to confirm, and tap Delete my account.
If you last signed in a while ago, Iaru asks you to confirm it’s you: enter your password, or sign in again and come back to this step.

It takes effect immediately and can’t be undone.

Can’t use the app?

Email contact@voxtraffic.com from the email address on your account, with the subject “Delete my account”. We will confirm the request comes from you, delete the account within 30 days (usually much sooner) and let you know when it’s done. Please don’t send passwords or health details.

What is deleted

Your account: name, email address, password and connected sign-in accounts.
Your profile photos, preferences, goals and reminder settings.
Mood check-ins and reflection answers.
Iaru AI conversations, AI memory and any replies you reported.
Favorites, course progress, and your listening and practice history.
Your consent choices, legal acceptance records and any active safety pause.

What isn’t deleted straight away

Anonymous counts that contain no account ID and can’t be linked to you.
Usage analytics events already sent, if you opted in. They stay with PostHog under a pseudonymous ID (no name or email). Email contact@voxtraffic.com and we will have them deleted.
Server logs and database backups, which expire within 30 days.
Short-lived security records, such as password-reset tokens and rate-limit counters, which expire on their own.
Audio you downloaded for offline listening, which is stored on your phone. Deleting the Iaru app removes it.

Subscriptions

Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription bought through the App Store. Cancel it first in your Apple Account settings (Settings › your name › Subscriptions), so you are not charged again.

Smaller steps

You don’t have to delete everything. In Profile → Privacy & Data you can delete single conversations, clear AI memory, turn off chat history or Iaru AI, and delete mood check-ins or reflections, while keeping your account. See our Privacy Policy.
